Utah Advertising Federation (UAF) was founded in 1909 – well before the days of television, radio, cable, the sophisticated print production and the Internet we know today.

To encourage camaraderie, build knowledge and facilitate open industry communication, UAF sponsors or helps coordinate a wide range of activities:

  • Monthly luncheons provide one-on-one interaction with industry leaders.
  • The club conducts workshops, socials, projects for advertising students and public service projects.
  • UAF may be best known as sponsor of the annual ADDY Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in advertising throughout the state.
  • The club honors individual achievement through the Silver Medal and Professional of the Year awards.

UAF is in American Advertising Federation’s District 12, which includes advertising organizations in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming and El Paso, Texas.

UAF membership is almost equally distributed between advertising agencies, the media, advertising clients and suppliers to the industry.

Over the years, UAF has been a voice for our industry in governmental affairs, provided thousand of hours in public service advertising efforts, supported education and professional development programs, provided a forum for social activity, honored outstanding advertising and advertising professionals, and supported student programs in the state’s higher education system.
