History

The Utah Advertising Federation is 98 years old, started by a group that adopted the name Salt Lake Advertising Club. The organization was originally affiliated with the Advertising Association of the West (AAW). In the late 1960s, AAW merged with a like eastern organization to form the American Advertising Federation (AAF). UAF is one of 220-plus organizations that make up the 52,000-member AAF. With a membership of over 300, UAF is among the largest affiliates of AAF.
